This Privacy Policy describes how HerSport Gaming, Inc. ("Company", "We", "Us", or "Our") collects, uses, and discloses Your information when You use the DuchessDraft application ("Service"). By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Definitions
- Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service.
- Application refers to DuchessDraft, the software program provided by the Company.
- Company refers to HerSport Gaming, Inc., 1919 Burnett Ave, Ames, IA 50010.
- Device means any device that can access the Service such as a cell phone, tablet, or computer.
- Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company.
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When You create an account, We collect:
- Email address
- Display name and username
- Authentication credentials (managed securely through Firebase Authentication)
2.2 Application Data
As You use the Service, We store the following data in our systems:
- Fantasy league and team information (leagues joined, team names, roster selections)
- Draft history and draft picks
- Bracket predictions and pool participation
- Achievement progress and unlock history
- Lineup changes and waiver claims
- Trade history
- Friends list and social connections
- Public profile information (username, display name, bio, featured achievements)
- In-app notification preferences
2.3 Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when You use the Service, including:
- Device type, operating system, and version
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- App interaction data (screens visited, features used, time spent)
- Unique device identifiers
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics
2.4 Subscription Information
If You subscribe to DuchessDraft+, Apple processes and manages all payment information. We do not collect, store, or have access to Your credit card number, bank account details, or other payment credentials. We receive confirmation of Your subscription status from Apple to provide appropriate access to features.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect and process data:
3.1 Firebase (Google)
We use several Firebase services provided by Google:
- Firebase Authentication — manages user sign-in securely. Collects email address and authentication tokens.
- Firebase Firestore — stores application data (leagues, teams, rosters, achievements). Data is stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States.
- Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports to help us identify and fix bugs. This includes device model, operating system version, app state at the time of crash, and stack traces. Crashlytics does not collect personally identifiable information.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications. Collects a device token to route notifications to Your device.

3.2 Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements to users on the free tier of the Service. AdMob may collect and use the following data for ad personalization and measurement:
- Device identifiers (including Identifier for Advertisers, or IDFA, if You have granted permission)
- IP address and approximate location (city-level)
- Device information (model, operating system, screen size)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, conversions)
- App usage information relevant to ad targeting
DuchessDraft+ subscribers do not see advertisements and AdMob does not collect data from subscribers.

3.3 Apple StoreKit
Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. App Tracking Transparency
On iOS 14.5 and later, We request Your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing Your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). This identifier may be used by AdMob to serve personalized advertisements.
You may choose to allow or deny this request. If You deny tracking:
- You will still see advertisements on the free tier, but they will be less personalized
- AdMob will not receive Your IDFA
- Your experience with the Service will not otherwise be affected
You can change Your tracking preference at any time in Your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information We collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To manage Your account and provide customer support
- To process and manage Your fantasy leagues, teams, and bracket predictions
- To calculate fantasy scores, standings, and matchup results
- To track and award achievements
- To send push notifications about drafts, matchup results, waiver claims, trade offers, and tournament updates (based on Your notification preferences)
- To display advertisements to free-tier users
- To manage Your subscription status
- To identify and fix bugs and improve performance
- To analyze usage trends and improve the Service
- To enforce our Terms and Conditions and protect against misuse
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell Your Personal Data. We share data with third parties only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers — We share data with Google (Firebase, AdMob, Crashlytics) as described above to operate the Service.
- Other Users — Your public profile information (username, display name, achievements, league participation) is visible to other users of the Service. You can control the visibility of Your profile and stats in Your account settings.
- Legal Requirements — We may disclose Your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
- Business Transfers — If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, Your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
7. Data Retention
We retain Your Personal Data for as long as Your account is active or as needed to provide You the Service. If You delete Your account, We will delete Your Personal Data within 30 days, except where We are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify You may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
8. Account Deletion
You have the right to delete Your account and associated data at any time. You can do this by:
When You delete Your account:
- Your profile, teams, league memberships, bracket entries, achievement history, and social connections will be permanently deleted
- Your username will be released and may become available to other users
- Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple's subscription management in device Settings
- Data already shared with third-party services (Firebase, AdMob) will be subject to those services' own data retention and deletion policies
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
9. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect Your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and secure cloud infrastructure provided by Google Cloud. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If You are a parent or guardian and believe Your child under 13 has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us at support@duchessdraft.com and We will delete that information.

- Control profile visibility (public/private)
- Delete Your account and associated data
- Opt out of ad personalization via App Tracking Transparency

If You are a California resident, You have the right to:
- Know what Personal Data We collect about You and how it is used
- Request deletion of Your Personal Data
- Opt out of the "sale" of Personal Data (We do not sell Personal Data)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising Your privacy rights

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page, updating the "Last updated" date, and where appropriate, sending You an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
